A Change Will Do Good

I bet you thought I disappeared!  Well, I kind of did this summer. It has been a busy few months and I am ready for some serious normalcy.  The boys headed off to school today.  I told myself I was going to focus on them this summer and they took all of my time.  Honestly, I do not know where the summer went.  It seems I say that every year.  Time is flying so fast I find myself wanting it back.  If I could only save time in a bottle everything would be solved.
Because I can’t bottle up time, I decided to make some changes…  changes with my blog, my retail space, and just life in general.
I learned that I never let myself slow down and smell the roses!
So… bear with me.  I want these changes to happen overnight,
but they are going to take some time.
Okay, on with some fun stuff.
After attending Haven, Erin over at DIY On the Cheap organized a group for Atlanta bloggers.  There have been several get-togethers, but I attended my first over the weekend.  What a fun group of women.  We had lunch and did a little thrift shopping after.  I wanted to get a picture of us all, but it never happened.  Next time!
BUT, I do have a picture of my steal and Erin’s awesome find.
Erin picked up this awesome old, rusty fan.  I really liked this one because it is sitting so low and not on a long base as other fans that I see.
 Awesome find, wouldn’t you agree?
I purchased this bench for $4.94.  Unbelievable!  There is nothing wrong with it.  Just needs a little paint and new fabric and it’s ready to enjoy.
Last, but not least, the color of the sideboard.

I promised to share the paint color with you.
It is a Benjamin Moore Paint color… Winter White.
I chose to use Sherwin Williams paint and do a color match.  I LOVE Benjamin Moore paint, but have never used it on furniture.
That is something I will have to try in the future.
Thank you so much for reading!  I am thankful for each and every one of you!
Have a beautiful day!
Enjoy!

    1. I know! I am so sorry, it was a good find. You have no idea how I was eying that guy looking at every detail of it before me. I waited until he walked away, and I pounced. (Poor guy) LOL!
