Back to Reality
Back to reality again. I was away for the week of Thanksgiving to spend time with family and create memories. I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving! It seems like forever since I have written, but I told myself to focus on the kids and have a week without a computer or cell phone. It was hard, but I managed to “live” in the moment. That was fun!
We watched the sunset, fished, boated, kayaked, painted, played tennis, cooked, had some karaoke fun, danced, and most importantly – spent time together. My mom worked really hard to make sure we all had a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner.
It was fun getting a little crafty with some pine cones I found at the tennis courts.
I will share this tutorial with you because it was easy and fun!
Now it’s time to get going on Christmas decor in the house… I am behind already. Argh! Somehow I find myself saying that every year. What about you?
Have a lovely day!
Enjoy!
Angie
Sounds like a great Thanksgiving- I’m a little jealous! 🙂 Neither of our kids came home, so we had a very low-key holiday.
Oh, Sheila, I bet that must be hard not having the kids come home. I guess I should enjoy all of the moments we have because I know they go by so quickly. 🙂
By the way… I love your newly designed site, it is beautiful!
