A Fairytale Wedding
Does a Fairytale Wedding exist?
Oh, yes it does!
It’s a
Fairytale, Bohemian-Chic, Wedding.
This was a wedding for one of the
Southern Ground Folks
that eat a Little Chicken Fried,
a Cold Beer on a Friday Night,
wear a pair of Jeans That Fit Just Right,
and Turn the Radio On.
Are you following me?
Yep!
It was a wedding for one of the members of the
Zac Brown Band – Coy Bowles.
Let me tell you what a treat this was!
Coy’s bride, Kylie, thought of every detail.
If you are planning a wedding or super cool party,
this will give you plenty of great ideas.
At the end of this post don’t miss Zac Brown’s Band, “Sweet Annie”, video.
This is where all of the photos come to life as
you get a front row seat at the wedding of Coy and Kylie Bowles.
My friend, Jennifer, of Virtu Floral and Event Design helped Kylie, the bride, create a beautiful Bohemian/Hippy-Chic design.
With Kylie wanting a casual fairytale feel,
the floral design was loose as though one had just picked wildflowers from a field.
Mixing vintage pieces with varying sizes of bottles created a relaxed,
yet chic floral design.
Here you see vintage glass and antique bronze
mixed with a variety of wine bottles used as vases and taper candle holders
to continue the Bohemian feel.
A special touch was added… look in the right wine bottle above.
In the bottle you see a gold dipped feather from Kylie’s grandfather’s farm.
Each table was filled with boxes full of natural elements and wildflowers.
Interested in making this box?
See a similar box I made here.
Let’s not forget the kiddos need a special table too.
This table stocked full of drawing paper, crayons, and markers made the kids happy.
There was also paint to decorate the adjacent tee-pee.
(I even saw Kylie painting with the kids).
A relaxed environment was created by
using vintage furniture vignettes
for cozy seating.
with sweet messages
and inspiration along the way.
A dessert table was centered in between all of the tables.
The vintage table was adorned with jars full of candy, cookies, cake, and every yummy dessert imaginable.
A dance floor was placed in front of the stage to dance the night away.
The stage full of hanging parasols helped to create the fairytale bohemian-chic feel.
Kylie also showed me that it’s okay to loosen up a little.
Why not have a 200 foot water slide for all of your guests to
take off their shoes,
roll up their pants, and have some fun?
What a great place to watch it all…
right here…
by candlelight
on this vintage bed
or bohemian styled pillows and blankets.
Watch the video and you will see a surprise at the end
which includes the bride going down a wet water slide.
The setting was pretty much perfect
at *Camp Southern Ground.
It couldn’t have been a more beautiful day in Georgia
to say
“I do”.
When the sun disappeared,
the torches were lit and the music began.
Who wouldn’t enjoy a little “live” music from the musicians in the Zac Brown Band?
It was a pretty special moment.
While we listened to music,
some sat
under a large oak tree where a chandelier lit up a swanky swing and vintage sofa.
It was a fairytale wedding!
To respect Coy and Kylie’s wedding day,
I didn’t want to take pictures at the event,
however, I couldn’t help but grabbing my phone to snatch this one.

Enjoy the video,
and while you are watching,
make sure to get a good look at Kylie’s beautiful wedding dress.
It was designed and made by Zac Brown’s wife, Shelly.
***A special thank you to my super talented and sweet friend, Jennifer, for inviting me to help her with this wedding. It was such a treat!***
Enjoy!
Every. Single. Moment.
Angie
I’ve always liked the look of a chandelier hanging from a tree. So pretty! Looks like a fun wedding!
