Life-like garland for Christmas

I purchased this garland a couple of weeks ago and set it on the mantel for you to get a peek. The sweeping cedar is a beautiful addition to the mantel. Don’t you think?
You can find the wooden bead garland tutorial here.
Here are a few other garland options which are similar depending on the look you would like to achieve.

This 24″ Pine Wreath is perfect for a window, hanging on a door, or would be adorable hanging on a mirror.
This 19″Monterey Cypress Bush 2 Pack would fit perfectly in a bowl with ornaments, or in a small pot, or on a mantel tucked into garland.

More affordable garland options

Last year I purchased This pine garland for the stair railings. I purchased 10 to get the draping effect I was going for. This was an affordable option, but I felt the single strand wasn’t full enough and needed two garland strands for complete fullness. Instead, I opted for a white willow garland.
This white willow garland not only looks good draping on a railing, but would be beautiful on a mantel, table-scape, or window frame.
I’ve always loved decorating for Christmas, but knew what I wanted was on the expensive side. After purchasing items that weren’t exactly what I wanted due to budget, I decided to make one splurge every year. I then watch sales for must-have items after Christmas. A beautifully curated style is what I strive for. To me, this gives a signature style that is unique to my home.
My hope today is that I gave you some good suggestions for almost real, life-like garland and greenery to fill your home this Christmas. Let me know if there are certain buying guides you have for the season. Do you splurge or shop sales? Do you wait until after the season?
Until next time.
Enjoy!
Every. Single. Moment.
