Porch To The Rescue

There is a new website that I am jazzed about.  Have you ever seen a picture on Pinterest or a Blog and wanted to create the project yourself, but had no idea about cost, who to contract out, and how to begin the project?  I am a DIY’er, but I can’t do it all.  I am not an electrician, plumber, architect, etc.  Now there is a website that is going to rescue every home owner.  It is completely free to dwellers and is super easy to use.

It’s Porch

Make sure to grab your favorite beverage, go over, check it out, and prepare to stay awhile.

At Porch you can create a scrapbook of all your favorite photos and projects of inspiration.  You can find  and endorse professionals in your area and follow others recommendations from your area.  Here you see a map with recommendations for the area selected.

When clicking on an icon, this is a screenshot of what you may find.

We are considering building an addition to our home.  This site will come in handy when contracting out an architect.  I really am interested to see pictures of the before and after projects to know ahead of time if the architect shares my vision.  This will save me a lot of time and future headaches.  Not only will I be able to see their vision, I will have insight to the final cost of each project.  I will also know my neighbors and other home owners are the endorsers, so all information is authentic.

Porch.com launched September 17th and for a limited time is offering you the opportunity to receive $50.00 off your next home product purchase at Hayneedle.   All you have to do is sign up for Porch.  It’s free!

I am headed over there now…

****Porch invited me to be included in the Blog program called Porch Storyteller.  I was not compensated for this post, I do get $50.00 off my next home purchase at Hayneedle for signing up – just like you. All opinions and thoughts are my own.  I think this site is in need for all homeowners.  I hope you enjoy having Porch at your fingertips.****
