Swivel Chair
Since my last post it has been busy…
I am working on pieces that are really getting me jazzed.
I cannot wait to share them with you.
Sometimes
“I Dream of Jeannie”
wishing she would come and do her Jeannie magic!
I can envision the end result, but it’s getting there that takes time.
(She would make it so much easier… faster too).
With that said, I want to share with you a project I did a while ago,
but really liked this find and the final result.
I found a vintage caned back, swivel chair, which was perfect!
Not a flaw with this baby.
Definitely a dream when you are dealing with caning.
Here is the finished chair…
And the before…
(I forgot to take a picture before diving into the paint… oops!).
This was screaming basic white to me, so Sherwin Williams “Creamy”
paint was applied
with a little distressing and clear wax.
This chair is SOLD, but I wanted you to see it.
Enjoy!
Angie
Love the office chair. What a nice makeover. The pillow ON it is gorgeous! xo Diana
Thanks Diana!
Great chair, Angie! I hear you on the caning. I don’t think I’d attempt a chair that needed the cane repaired. It looks great with the white and the distressing you did. Love the pillow, too!
Thanks Kathy!
