Welcome a “Spoonful of Imagination”

***Welcome a Spoonful of Imagination***

Today is a special day for me.  Blogging is a blessing not only because I get to share my passions with you, but also get to meet some pretty amazing friends along the way.  I asked my friend, Erica, to guest post today as I am loving what she is doing and I know you will too.  Her heart is as big as gold and you see that through her work and life.  I am blessed to have her as a friend and am excited to share her with you today!

Enjoy!

Every. Single. Moment.

Hi!  I am thrilled to be here today! My name is Erica and I blog over at Spoonfulofimagiantion.com.  I love color and crafting. I will almost always choose creating over any household chore.  My husband and three kids help keep me balanced with the real world, but I also do a pretty good job of dragging them into my DIY dreams.

Thank you so much Angie for having me today! You are a gem, but even better a real life friend that I love, and I am honored to be sharing bits of me here.

If you walked into my house, you would probably quickly realize I like to make things. I like to think of our home as a colorful box of crayons, yet comfortable and welcoming.

I share tutorials of most things I create. To date, my rag quilt and headboard are two of my most favorite projects.

Big projects can intimidate me. Not by their difficulty but by the length of time they require. I am much more crafty than big DIY, but I do a little of both. My most favorite thing to do on my blog is to inspire and help you imagine the possibilities. I do that with tutorial posts and as I open up about our family.

We are currently homeschooling, just said good-bye to our foster son (as he went to live with an extended family member), and are getting ready to move 700 miles away. Life is crazy, but so beautiful.

My crafting windows are my “me” time. Whatever creation doesn’t find a place in our home; you can most likely find in my store. I love to send out happy mail and the thought that my creations could possibly bring joy and encouragement to someone is a true gift.

My family is currently working on a project together. We have gone into the t-shirt business.

If you’ve been around church or a wedding ceremony, you’ve probably heard the scripture about Love found in 1 Corinthians chapter 13 recited a few times. It’s one of the Bible’s most famous passages, and for good reason… It gives a beautiful definition for the word Love. We have found that it’s helpful to have reminders of love around our house, which led us to make these shirts.

I enjoy being reminded that “Love is Patient” as my little’s create a path of destruction through my freshly cleaned house.

We are taking preorders for these shirts for the month of September. You can place an order for your shirt here.

Thank you so much for letting me share a bit of me, and I hope you will stop by
